The Rocky Patel Vintage Seconds are composed of the same tobaccos as the original Vintage Series cigars, but these were rejected due to some cosmetic reasons, like slight wrapper discoloration or perhaps a heavy vein, giving us the same fantastic cigars at bargain prices, unbanded and in Bundles of 15.
Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Seconds: Medium bodied and robust flavors of leather and wood. Their combination of aged Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, topped with Honduran Broadleaf wrappers, make these smokes chewy in texture with a short finish.
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Seconds: Medium to Full bodied and very robust. The Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that is used on every cigar gives them a complex aroma that brings out notes of leather and spice on the palate with a dryer and longer finish.
